We thank you for choosing us for your child's dental
health care. Our goal is to help guide you and
your child toward optimum oral health and achieve
the proper growth and development of your child's
mouth.
Children
are a precious gift. An early start in regular dental care is an important step on the road
to total health. We recommend that children
begin routine dental visits by age one so that any
problems may be detected, treated early, or even
avoided completely. Please

about "Baby's First Visit".
Our office is
committed to prevention. By seeing your child at a
young age, we can help prevent dental decay and
infections by early treatment, oral hygiene
instructions, and diet counseling. Orthodontic
problems may also be prevented or the severity
lessened by early recognition and treatment.
Our
office is devoted to children. Each and every
staff member is interested in providing a safe,
comfortable environment for your child. Our
experience with children and the understanding of
their behavior patterns are one of the reasons you
chose our office. We will do all that we can
to warrant your trust.
At the first visit
you and your child will be introduced to our
hygienist or assistant in the reception area.
If your child is over the age of 3, they will then
be escorted into a treatment room. Parents are
requested to wait in the reception area at this
time. If your child is under 3, we invite a
parent to accompany the child for the initial visit. X-rays will be taken, the teeth cleaned,
and then examined by one of the doctors. Your
child will then be taught proper oral hygiene. The
results of the examination will be discussed and
suggestions made to maintain your child's oral
health. Please feel free to ask any questions
you may have at this time.
An accounting of
the services to be rendered, as well as the cost of
the entire treatment, will be given to the parent.
It is customary to receive payment as work
progresses. We will process your insurance
forms for you.
Please give 24
hours notice if an appointment can not be kept.
Baby's First Visit
Both
the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD)
recommend that children have a “dental home”
established by age one. We are committed to this
belief, and urge you to contact our offices to set
up BABY’S FIRST VISIT, which is a complimentary
consultation with one of our dental staff
members. At this visit, you will be greeted by one
of our friendly staff members who has been counseled
in infant dental health education, and given
educational materials along with dental care
products free of charge. This is not a visit
with a doctor or an examination, but rather an
informative visit designed to acquaint you with our
office and provide general information for the
well-being of your baby. This visit and service is
designed for children up to the age of one year.
Call today to schedule your visit!
To best meet your
child's needs, we ask that you complete the medical
and personal history questionnaire at the bottom of
this page.
Your child, with your cooperation, can become an
